New! Game Programming Emphasis
The Computer Science program now offers an emphasis in game programming. This emphasis deals with a wide range of both hardware and software related topics relating to game development. The Game Programming courses will provide the students with an understanding of some of the tools used in game development such as C/C++, DirectX, and OpenGL.

Free Tutoring Available
The South Dakota State University Computer Science Club offers free computer science tutoring 2 nights a week. There will be 2 computer science club members available for tutoring needs every Tuesday and Thursday from 5 pm – 7 pm in the Administration Building Room 136 computer lab. Students taking either Computer Science I or Computer Science II courses are encouraged to attend to receive help with assignments or basic computer science concepts.
